Real Country Racing

You'll find the gorgeous Corowa Race Club – just five minutes’ drive from the centre of Corowa – set among hundred-year-old gum trees and luscious green surrounds. The heritage-listed grandstand represents the rich history of the club, which was established in 1876.

The Corowa Race Club hosts six meetings annually, taking place across the whole year. The biggest day on the Corowa racing calendar is the Corowa Cup, which is run in March each year. With on-course TAB and bookies, full bar facilities, a variety of food options, lots of lawn to spread out a picnic blanket, fashions on the field and great entertainment for children, it’s an unmissable day that showcases our genuine local character.

Also popular is the races on the eve of the Melbourne Cup in spring. You don’t have to be in the Birdcage at Royal Flemington to frock up and enjoy the carnival atmosphere of the races.

No matter your passion, North of the Murray invites you to discover your next favourite sporting experience.
